Changes to the Management Board of Geis PL

Geis PL has announced key changes in its top management as of 1 February 2024.

Grzegorz Lichocik, BEng, PhD has become its new Managing Director. As of the same date, the current Operations Director of Geis PL, Paweł Golec, was appointed as Proxy. These changes come after last year's acquisition of the Austrian company Quehenberger and together clearly demonstrate the dynamism and success of the development of the entire Geis Group. The new Managing Director (Vice President) Grzegorz Lichocik, BEng, PhD has many years of experience in managing international companies. In addition to Schenker Poland, he worked for 14 years at Dachser, where he held the position of Managing Director in Poland for the entire time. At Geis PL he will focus mainly on business development, international transport and contract logistics. Together with Managing Director (Vice President) Adam Kwiatkowski, he will be co-responsible for the overall development and operation of the company in the Polish market.

At the same time, on the same date, Paweł Golec, its long-standing Operations Director, was appointed as the company's Proxy. He has been working for Geis Group in Poland since 2015, and has been a constant and solid support in the management of the company. He also continues to hold the position of Operations Director.

The expansion of Geis management in Poland and last year's acquisition of a majority stake in Quehenberger by the Geis Group is the result of the company's dynamic development in recent years. In Poland, the company is successfully increasing its share of the domestic market in the groupage services, which is a solid basis for offering its customers advanced services in the field of international pallet transport as well. It also sees huge potential in the area of contract logistics, in which the Geis Group has many years of experience in many European countries.
